Shaw Moridi is a lawyer and business advisor trusted by Executive Teams and Boards of Directors to solve legal and financial problems.  Mr. Moridi has extensive experience in small, mid-size, and fortune 500 companies in both business and legal roles.  The business understanding coupled with legal acumen allows him to offer sophisticated commercial insights that reflect his legal and business experience in private sector.

Mr. Moridi, previously served as General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of MedXM (now a Quest Diagnostics Company) for over 8 years where he oversaw all aspects of the Company’s legal and finance and oversaw the acquisition process.  Before that he served as General Counsel for e-commerce and health care companies.  Entrepreneur by instinct, Mr. Moridi has been a founder and part of teams in over half dozen startups with numerous successful exits.

Mr. Moridi has taught courses in Transaction Law, Corporate Law, Health Law, and Business at USC Gould School of Law, Chapman School of Law, and various other colleges.  Mr. Moridi has been recognized on multiple occasions for his work and nominated to General Counsel of the year by Orange County Business Journal.

Mr. Moridi has received his Juris Doctorate from USC Gould School of Law, where he was elected to be part of Hale Moot Court Honors program.  He received his Master of Business Taxation simultaneously from USC Marshall School of Business with honors.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Business Economics with honors.
